Jeff Mirman Joins MG as Chief Digital OfficerMcCourt Global, an alternative asset management firm, today announced that Jeff Mirman has been named Chief Digital Officer. Mirman will initially focus on the development of enhanced digital strategies for the sports and media assets in the McCourt Global portfolio.

An expert in digital marketing, Mirman previously founded Next Strategy Consulting where he guided the online communications and marketing strategies of numerous sports and media organizations including Paris St. Germain Football Club, BeIN Media Group, and Red Bull.
Prior to Next Strategy, Mirman served as vice president of marketing for Turner Sports where he was responsible for maintaining the brand vision for the division’s online properties, which included BleacherReport.com, NCAA.com, PGA.com, Nascar.com and PGATOUR.com. Mirman also oversaw marketing of the NBA Digital portfolio, which is operated by Turner Sports and includes NBA TV, NBA.com, NBA League Pass, NBA League Pass Broadband, NBADLeague.com and WNBA.com. Additionally, he was charged with strategic marketing and planning for Turner Sports’ television sports properties, which includes the NCAA March Madness, NBA, MLB, NASCAR and professional golf.
Previously, Mirman served as Director of Brand Integration and Mobile Strategy, as well as Director of Interactive Marketing, at Starwood Hotels and Resorts, and as a vice president at the digital advertising agency, Beyond Interactive.
Mirman is a graduate of the University of Illinois where he received a Bachelor of Science in economics and psychology. He received his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of California-Irvine with a specialty in marketing.
