“This is one of the most dynamic and exciting areas of Manhattan for real estate development today,” said Drew McCourt, president of McCourt Global. “The emergence of Hudson Yards and the success of the High Line have made 360 Tenth Avenue the ideal place for development on Manhattan’s Lower West Side.”
Under the terms of the agreement, McCourt Global purchased 360 Tenth Avenue, on the northeast corner of 30th Street, from Sherwood Equities. The property is zoned for up to 840,000 square feet of total zoning-floor area and is within walking distance of Penn Station, the Port Authority Bus Terminal, the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, and arts center The Shed, which will open in 2019.
